Kuumba has four rooms that are at the disposal of community life. You can hire them for meetings, conferences, and all kinds of cultural events.

RATES

The Great Hall :

For large cultural activities. Capacity of 150-250 persons

• 9 am.- 1pm.: €250
• 1pm-6pm: €400
• 6pm - 10pm: €800
• full day: 1200€

The language room: 

For meetings, rehearsals and conferences of associations and artists. Capacity of 10 - 20 people.

• 15€ per hour

The Mirror Room:

For small-scale cultural activities, meetings, rehearsals and conferences of associations and artists. Capacity of 30 - 40 people.

• 30€ per hour

The Foyer:

Capacity of about 50 pers. For jam sessions or short musical interludes with friends or family. Drinks and food are welcome.

• 9am-1pm: 75€
• 1pm-6pm: 150€
• 6pm - 10pm:300€

For organisations that are members of the various ethnic cultural federations, we have a 30% discount

Catering for Receptions

For groups of 30 or more, Kuumba offers catering. Cocktail receptions last up to 3 hours.

  • Our soft drink package includes soft drinks, coffee, and tea — €8 per person
  • Our wine package includes wine (white, red, and rosé), soft drinks, coffee, and tea — €12 per person
  • Our party package includes a glass of cava upon arrival, Jupiler lager, soft drinks, coffee, and tea — €16 per person

• A la carte: Our beverages are also available individually. We use tokens for this.
  • 1 token (wine, Jupiler lager, soft drinks) — €2
  • 2 tokens (spirits/beers) -- €4

• Reception appetizers: Appetizers from various African countries, such as beignets, samosas, plantains, and fatayer.
