SWAHILI, LINGALA AND KINYARWANDA LANGUAGE COURSES (16+)

Language Course Terms and Conditions

• Your registration is confirmed once the payment of €130 has been received. By making the payment, you agree to these terms and conditions.
• Kuumba vzw cannot be held liable for accidents, loss, or theft of personal belongings.
• The course fee is non-refundable in case of absence or if the participant withdraws from the course.
• If a lesson cannot take place due to the teacher's illness or force majeure (e.g. a strike), Kuumba vzw will, whenever possible, schedule a make-up lesson.
• Kuumba vzw reserves the right to modify the course schedule if circumstances require it.
• The module will only start if there are at least 6 registrations. If this is not the case, your money will be refunded to your account in October​

Class schedule:

Monday [18:30 - 20:30]:  Swahili level1 (the hours can change stilll to 30 mins earlier) and Swahili level 2

Tuesday [18:30 - 20:30]: Kinyarwanda level 1 and Lingala level1

Wednesday [18:30 - 20:30]:  Kinyarwanda level 2 and Lingala level 2

Our teachers speak different languages, here’s an overview of which languages the lessons will be given in:

• Swahili 1: English and Swahili
• Swahili 2: Swahili, French, Dutch, English
• Kinyarwanda: French and Kinyarwanda
• Lingala: French, Lingala, a bit of English and Dutch

Your registration will only be effective after we receive your payment. Please transfer the amount of €130 to our bank account: BE14 7310 5761 9183, indicating your name and the chosen course. There’s a max of 14 students, first come, first served.

For groups looking for activities we have a whole range of workshops: dance, percussion, creative writing, African board games, initiation language lessons, decolonisation at Africa Museum, decolonisation at Kuumba. Our workshops are organised at Kuumba or on location and can be adapted to your wishes.

Lovers of creativity who wish to exhibit their creative works can contact us so long as these have something to do with Africa, whether directly or indirectly. Exhibition space is therefore available for them and Kuumba take cares of communication, the setting and the opening.
