‘Family Day!’ is one of our recurring events with playful and collective activities for children and families. This is a cosy space where parents, children and residents from Anderlech can meet through fun activities. Everyone can participate in African board games, face painting, crafts, dance or percussion workshops. During the event, Kuumba Kaffee will also be open, so curious passers-by are welcome to pop in and get a taste of the atmosphere. Welcome from 2pm to 5pm.

Accompanied  with the actor and coach Jovial Mbenga, you explore the way you develop your skills. The result is the design of the themes, the emotions and the formats of the parts: theatre, text, movement, music, image... or a mixture of all the elements. The 14th of March, we organize a session of information to reveal the comment function of the project, so you can attend and comment participant. Aucune expérience n'est necessaire juste l'envie d'essayer.
And in June 2026, we will present our final results in a public broadcast at GC De Rinck. There are tons of moments for brilliance and tons of talent.

We welcome you to a fun evening of spoken word where soft, loud, humble and confident voices come together! OutSpoken is our monthly evening of spoken word and poetry. This time, we're writing on the racism. Everyone is welcome, whether you're new or have participated before. After the writing session, we'll listen to everything that's been written during the open mic. 

Are you between 16 and 30 years old and of African descent? Would you like to join the conversation on topics such as racism, discrimination, and identity in Flanders and Brussels? Then we'd like to invite you to an interactive Q&A session where your voice will be the central theme.

During this session, young people with an African diaspora background will answer various questions about these topics. A video of the conversations will be made and shown on March 21st during the "My Voice, Our Story" event within the OUTSPOKEN project, taking place at Kuumba vzw. Everyone is welcome! Be sure to bring friends or family. The language spoken doesn't matter; all languages ​​are welcome.
