Vacancy Administrative assistant Kuumba vzw

(50% to 60% - fixed-term April to July)

Are you an administrative jack-of-all-trades and is planning and organising your thing? Do you have a heart for art and culture and is working together and organising in your DNA? Do you know Brussels well and are you in touch with African culture? Do you enjoy the challenge of organising a diversity of cultural projects? And are you also fluently bilingual (NL/FR)? Then you are the person we are looking for to temporarily complete our team.

You are the right hand of the coordinator and provide the administrative support the organisation needs, such as:

Managing the rental of the hall and ancillary (bar and catering);

Setting up and maintaining the activity agenda (events, guided tours, workshops, classes,...);

Planning, organising and evaluating the activities;

Taking care of the administrative management of the volunteers (contracts, payments and evaluation);

Coordinating and monitoring general communication through various channels: social media, websites, newsletters, leaflets, etc. ;

Administrative support for accounting.

Who are we looking for?

You have a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

You can work with MS Office (Word, Excel, Access and Outlook)

You can work independently and in a group

You are not afraid of meeting deadlines

You are a social, enthusiastic, stress-resistant person with a positive attitude

Having a fluent pen and knowledge of the non-profit sector are pluses!

What do we offer?

You will join a small, young and diverse organisation. This is a half-time job with a fixed-term contract. The working hours can be determined by mutual agreement, with occasional evening and weekend work. The salary is in accordance with the prevailing scales of PC 329.01 B1b.
